Our company wished to continue in the tradition of the Angster Orgonagyár (Angster Organ Factory), which had earned a reputation for Pécs, by starting its operation as a small enterprise in 1992. By 1994 it had transformed into Pécsi Orgonaépíto Manufaktúra Kft. (Pécsi Organ-building Manufacture Ltd.).

Our leading professionals have learnt their trade in Hungary, Austria and Germany, and a number of our employees have taken field trips. Repair and reconstruction work is conducted by one of our professionals who has been working in this field for 40 years.

The competence of our employees makes it possible to undertake the full range of activities of the profession, and so we are in constant demand for building new organs, restoration of organs of any system, as well as repair and maintenance.

Our dynamically developing company has become the largest organ-building enterprise in Hungary. Our machines, equipment, a nearly 800-m² plant building and an assembling hall with an internal height of 10 m represents Western European standards. Our plant facilitates that all the organ parts, including the entire organ console, the flue and the reed pipes are produced here.

The wood pieces are made from select wood properly stored in our wood warehouse while the metal pipes are made from a tin-lead alloy. We place a great emphasis on both our professionals' continuous training and the practical training of apprentices.

Our company -the only one of its kind in Hungary - is a participant of the European CRAST research program. The program is managed by the acoustical team of the Stuttgart Fraunhofer Institute with the participation of well-established Western European organ building companies and research is carried out in the fields of wind systems and acoustics.
